Well, the rain stopped for us Saturday, but there was so much standing water and the wind was so cold. We were only too happy to bundle up into our vehicles and drive to my little farm.
Deanna and Jenny were the only ones to brave it out. We had fun sipping hot chocolate and tea, and lots of muffins to go around. Then we hiked it out to the barn to try our hand at lassoing 'ol Betsy the cow. Some of us soon gave up and opted out to taking in Kate and Karamell and grooming them.
Deanna and Jenny got to muck out the shed together. I wondered if they minded as I walked thru the paddock only to hear their talking and laughter. Most anybody who loves horses, doesn't mind scooping manure.
The morning flew by quickly but it was fun.
This coming Saturday morning will be our last. Regardless of weather, we will meet as I've always said before. Hope to see you there!
