Good Rider, Bad Rider

The weather held up for us once again. The rain did not start until we walked to our cars to leave! Does that just happen by chance?
We had eight ladies come out and we enjoyed grooming our four-legged friends, removing burrs from their manes and tails and just hanging out-getting to know eachother.
Amy-Lyn gave us a 'how to saddle up'' demonstration, after which we all divided up into teams of two and tried it for ourselves. Everyone did great.
Then Amy-Lyn and I gave a 'good rider, bad rider' demonstration, showing everyone very clearly how not to ride. Those observing did a great job recognizing our riding errors.
After that we unsaddled the horses and let them out to pasture, cleaned up our stuff and finally got to relax with real 'hot' chocolate and muffins and just shoot the breeze.
A big thank-you to the folks at the Ranch that so hospitably share their space with us and a big thank-you to you ladies that show up. I had alot of fun with you all.

We will be meeting next week Saturday even though it is Thanksgiving weekend. What better way to spend the morning...being with horses and friends?
Remember to bring warm clothes and boots and be ready for some more fun.

See you soon!

Cheryl
